Pediatrician-led virtual autism evaluations for children ages 18 months through 17 years, anywhere in Colorado. Three visits, a complete DSM-5 diagnostic report, and a flat fee of $1,499. No waitlist and no referral required.
Colorado families face two problems at once: long waitlists at the developmental clinics that do exist, and the fact that nearly all of them sit along the Front Range. A family on the Western Slope, the Eastern Plains, or in a mountain community may be looking at a multi-hour drive, over a pass and in winter weather, on top of a months-long wait, and then a second drive for the follow-up.
Meanwhile the things that depend on a diagnosis, therapy authorization, school supports, Early Intervention Colorado services, all stay frozen until the evaluation is finished.
Foyer removes the drive and shortens the wait. Three virtual visits, typically two to four weeks from intake to findings, conducted by a board-certified pediatrician who has completed more than 1,100 virtual autism evaluations.
$1,499, charged after your confirmation call. No copays, no pre-authorization, no surprise billing. HSA and FSA eligible.
Intake, structured clinical observation, and a findings visit where Dr. Levine walks you through the report herself. Roughly 30 minutes each.
Comprehensive, signed by a board-certified physician, with diagnostic codes and clinical findings. Not a screening result.
Concrete recommendations for therapy, school, and next steps, written so the people who receive it can act on it.
For families with PPO or out-of-network benefits. Most recoup a meaningful portion of the fee.
Every family that comes to us is carrying a long list of questions. My job is to listen carefully, observe thoughtfully, and give you an answer you can trust, along with a plan you can actually use.
Dr. Selena Levine is a board-certified pediatrician who specializes in virtual autism diagnosis. She has personally evaluated more than 1,100 children for autism via telehealth, making her one of the most experienced virtual autism diagnosticians in the country. Her broader pediatric training spans primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and telehealth.
Early Intervention Colorado, for children under three. EI Colorado serves children from birth to age two years, eleven months through local community-centered boards, overseen by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood. Families can refer directly, and certain documented diagnoses establish eligibility automatically.
Child Find and the IEP process, for children three and older. Colorado districts run Child Find to evaluate children ages three to twenty-one for eligibility under IDEA and the state's Exceptional Children's Educational Act. Foyer's report is structured to meet the documentation standard an IEP team works from when eligibility is being considered.
Therapy authorization. ABA, speech, and occupational therapy providers in Colorado generally require a documented autism diagnosis before beginning care or requesting authorization. Colorado insurance law requires many state-regulated plans to cover autism treatment once a diagnosis is on file.
Foyer is fully virtual, so there is no clinic to drive to and no difference in access between a city and a rural county. If you can get a stable video connection, you can be seen. Families across the state work with us, including in:
One requirement: your child must be physically located in Colorado at the time of each visit. That is a licensing rule, not a Foyer policy, and it applies to every telehealth practice in the country.
Yes. Foyer is currently accepting families in Colorado, and your child needs to be physically located in the state at the time of each of the three visits. That covers Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins, Pueblo, Grand Junction, the Western Slope, and every rural county in between.
Foyer's report is DSM-5 aligned and signed by a board-certified physician, structured to meet the documentation an IEP team expects when a special education referral is opened. The district will still complete its own evaluation through Child Find, since an educational eligibility determination under the Exceptional Children's Educational Act is separate from a medical diagnosis. The report is what gets that conversation started.
Foyer charges a flat $1,499 for the complete evaluation, charged after your confirmation call. Private neuropsychological testing in Colorado metros commonly runs several thousand dollars. We do not bill insurance directly, but we provide an itemized superbill you can submit to PPO or out-of-network benefits, and HSA and FSA funds are eligible.
