Your child's autism evaluation in Florida, in weeks not years.

100% virtual Results in 2 to 4 weeks Research-validated approach

A long state, with a long waitlist at the end of the drive.

Florida runs more than 800 miles from Pensacola to Key West, and the specialists who diagnose autism are concentrated around a handful of children's hospitals and university centers. A family in the Panhandle, the Big Bend, the Heartland, or a small town in Southwest Florida may be looking at a multi-hour drive on top of a months-long wait, and then a second drive for the follow-up.

Meanwhile the things that depend on a diagnosis, therapy authorization, school supports, Early Steps services, all stay frozen until the evaluation is finished.

Foyer removes the drive and shortens the wait. Three virtual visits, typically two to four weeks from intake to findings, conducted by a board-certified pediatrician who has completed more than 1,100 virtual autism evaluations.

One flat fee. Everything included.

$1,499, paid when you book, in full or in 4 interest-free payments with Afterpay. No copays, no pre-authorization, no surprise billing. HSA and FSA eligible.

Three virtual visits

Intake, structured clinical observation, and a findings visit where Dr. Levine walks you through the report herself. Roughly 30 minutes each.

✓

A DSM-5 diagnostic report

Comprehensive, signed by a board-certified physician, with diagnostic codes and clinical findings. Not a screening result.

✓

A care plan you can use

Concrete recommendations for therapy, school, and next steps, written so the people who receive it can act on it.

✓

An itemized superbill

For families with PPO or out-of-network benefits. Most recoup a meaningful portion of the fee.

Care delivered by a physician, not a platform.

Every family that comes to us is carrying a long list of questions. My job is to listen carefully, observe thoughtfully, and give you an answer you can trust, along with a plan you can actually use.

Dr. Selena Levine is a board-certified pediatrician who specializes in virtual autism diagnosis. She has personally evaluated more than 1,100 children for autism via telehealth, making her one of the most experienced virtual autism diagnosticians in the country. Her broader pediatric training spans primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, and telehealth.

You'll see Dr. Levine personally for all three visits. Not a rotating roster, not a handoff between clinicians. The same physician from intake through findings.

What a diagnosis opens up in Florida.

Early Steps, for children under three. Early Steps is Florida's early intervention program for infants and toddlers from birth to 36 months, run by the Florida Department of Health through local Early Steps offices. Anyone can refer a child, and a diagnostic report gives the Early Steps team clinical documentation to work from.

Child Find and the IEP process, for children three and older. Florida school districts, supported by the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS), run Child Find to identify and evaluate children who may need exceptional student education (ESE). Foyer's report is structured to meet the documentation standard an IEP team works from when eligibility is being considered.

Therapy authorization. ABA, speech, and occupational therapy providers in Florida generally require a documented autism diagnosis before beginning care or requesting authorization. Florida law requires state-regulated, fully insured large-group plans and HMOs to cover ABA and related therapies for children diagnosed at age 8 or younger, which is one more reason not to wait. Self-funded employer plans set their own rules, so check with yours.

The FES-UA scholarship. Autism is a qualifying condition for Florida's Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities. The program accepts diagnosis documentation from physicians, including those licensed in another state, and Foyer's report is signed by one. Confirm current documentation rules with your scholarship funding organization before you apply.

Anywhere in Florida, from your living room.

Foyer is fully virtual, so there is no clinic to drive to and no difference in access between a city and a rural county. If you can get a stable video connection, you can be seen. Families across the state work with us, including in:

  • Jacksonville
  • Miami
  • Tampa
  • Orlando
  • St. Petersburg
  • Hialeah
  • Port St. Lucie
  • Cape Coral
  • Tallahassee
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Pembroke Pines
  • Gainesville
  • Fort Myers
  • Sarasota
  • Pensacola
  • Palm Bay

One requirement: your child must be physically located in Florida at the time of each visit. That is a licensing rule, not a Foyer policy, and it applies to every telehealth practice in the country.

What Florida families ask us first.

Yes. Dr. Levine is registered with the Florida Department of Health as an out-of-state telehealth provider, which allows her to evaluate Florida children by video. Your child needs to be physically located in Florida at the time of each of the three visits. That covers Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, the Panhandle, and everywhere in between. You can look up telehealth registrations through the Florida Department of Health.

Foyer's report is DSM-5 aligned and signed by a board-certified physician, structured to meet the documentation an IEP team expects when a special education referral is opened. The district will still complete its own evaluation for exceptional student education (ESE), since an educational eligibility determination is separate from a medical diagnosis. The report is what gets that conversation started.

Foyer charges a flat $1,499 for the complete evaluation, paid when you book, in full or in 4 interest-free payments with Afterpay. Private neuropsychological testing in Florida metros commonly runs several thousand dollars. We do not bill insurance directly, but we provide an itemized superbill you can submit to PPO or out-of-network benefits, and HSA and FSA funds are eligible.

Children from 18 months through 17 years. If your child is older and you are not sure whether we are the right fit, send us a note and we will tell you honestly before you book.
